Product Usage:

Suitable for the determination of salt content in crude oil and its products, and can be used for the determination of salt content in heavy oil, residual oil, refineries and oilfields, various industrial water and discharge water, as well as for the measurement of inorganic chloride ions in the above-mentioned samples.

The electrolytic cell adopts a specially made ceramic sand core, replacing the previous anode and cathode membranes, and improving the measurement sensitivity.

Testing principle:

The instrument adopts the principle of microcoulometry titration. The test sample or standard sample enters the salt electrolysis cell, and the CI - in the sample reacts with the AG+in the electrolyte. By calculating the electricity consumption of the electrogenerated AG+, the CI - and salt content of the sample can be determined according to Faraday's law.
